Nain is a town situated in central Iran, which is famous for its rug designs. This design has a stunning intricate central medallion, reminiscent of mosque ceilings. All-over 'islimi' (curvilinear floral tendrils) are scattered on the ground. The knottage density is high. Traditional colours of blue and cream from top quality wool has been used by craftsman, to produce this hand-knotted rug.
