They are one of the most sought after rugs in the American market, sometimes known as “American Saruq”. This is a fine vintage rug, classical design of a round central medallion, placed on a “boteh” field with unique fan shaped corners. The construction is hand-knotted wool on a cotton warp, in blue, red and cream colours.
