Traditional village rug from the Toserkan region in the greater Hamadan area in Western Persia. This is a vintage rug showing abrash in the softening of the dyes.  This has been achieved because of the natural vegetable dyes that was used by the skilled weavers.  Heavy duty wool has been used to create this fantastic robust rug.  Thanks to their cultural – traditional origin, these rugs have a unique character that embodies ancient Persia
