NAME: Baluchi Rug

Afghani rugs are among the finest made in the world today. Many rugs are made by Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan. Baluchi rugs are handmade originally by Baluchi nomads living near the border of Iran/Pakistan/Afghanistan. The rugs are often small in size and use traditional designs of lively small geometric patterns known as “guls” etc.  Prayer rugs are also common. The construction is mostly 100% wool.
