This ‘pushti’ size wall hanging was hand woven by the Turkoman tribe – known as the finest of all tribal weaver.  Beautifully hand woven sumak is finished at one side by an exceptionally long fringe.  This is a vintage piece made in a classic Turkoman design.  The nomadic Turkoman people live near the northern border of Iran & Russia.
